Love this place. One of my favorites in Anchorage.

The manager's my friend, along with the other bartenders, local customers and the owner. Plus you get to meet some wonderful tourists. Such a deal.

The service here is too funny and it’s remarkable to sit back and watch the locals casually down a glass of wine or a beer with shot of spirits. During the game, at each quarter, everyone has a ticket when they bought a drink and luckily - I won the t-shirt prize. Unlimited bowls of perfect popcorn - perfect introduction to the real Alaskans

Great little locals joint in Anchorage, great service and great drinks right in downtown.

Bartender kicked us out while we were waiting for an Uber, she also walked into the men’s bathroom to yell at me to leave. We didn’t do anything to provoke her to do this and she was extremely rude. I’ve never been treated this way by someone that I spend 100+ dollars with.

Great bar, nice and cozy. Plus the drinks are reasonably priced.

Local "dive", in a good way. Servers are friendly and enjoy interacting with the patrons. Part of the Anchorage experience!

Popcorn, booze, and a juke box. I love this place. We always stop in and always like to tip well. A great central location next to art and pizzza.

Fun little dive for drinks

An established gentlemen's bar. The bartenders are Supreme stewards of the trade. A little close quarters but that makes it fun

So I walked in the bar, asking if the bar has any snacks. Obviously they have popcorn. The first impression I got from the day bartender is that she judges way too quickly. I just wish that there wasn't any racism in this world. God bless her soul.

The best pub in Alaska for atmosphere and chat

A truly local's place, with a small bar and almost every stool covered by someone the bartender served last night. Or this morning. But they welcome all with open arms. And great prices. Plus, they serve Sailor Jerry.

27 years ago I was in anchorage for work . I worked on Steven Segal film on deadly ground . I was there for the start of the IDitarod I walked in to Darwin’s theory for a beer and food it was a awesome little place with the most friendly people I signed up for there news letter. It’s now December 2019 and I am still receiving there news letter if there ever was a business and coustomer service and life long pub friends this place in my opinion is far above the call of there coustomer service I read and enjoy the connection with this life long memory love this place hope to have a reunion one day ..thanks for including me in your pub family Sincerely your biggest fan 😃

Always five stars at Darwin's. I never pass through Anchorage without a couple mornings worth of regret for not leaving from this dive bar that treats everybody like a regular.

Always fun at Darwin's! Awesome staff. It gets crowded, you might have to squeeze in but people move in and out. We always end up getting a table and always have a good time.

Quaint, gritty but cozy bar. And you may get to sit by Darwin hisself. I had the pleasure of his company and there's a reason he bought the place years ago. His love of having his own bar and socializing with the beautiful women!! ;) Not to mention he's a great man and conversationalist. Say "hi" to Cindy for me.

Great small bar!

Great dive bar definitely worth a visit. Drinks by the bottle or can which was amazing and really nice staff. The free popcorn was a great touch. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Anchorage

No much into torist but I love to have Jimmy buffet " Come Monday " back on the jupebox.

I love this dive. It hasn't changed in the 10 years I've stopped through. I try to pick up a hat or shirt each time. The staff is great. Prices are good for being down town. Great slogan too. "A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" lol

This place ROCKS!!! That is all I will say. Come by, meet the staff, the locals, watch some sports, make some friends, have some popcorn and fun.

Darwin’s is an amazing bar and has the upmost respect for their customers. Free popcorn and juke box is a plus, along with the incredible customer service. Highly recommend!! Love it
